RSRs operate a non-cdl box truck along an established route delivering rental products and other services. They build solid, positive working relationships with customers and are highly motivated to exceed their expectations and requirements. Magic Linen operates in a competitive environment and successful RSRs must be able to balance exceptional customer service with meeting and exceeding sales growth goals.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
· Have an active driver`s license, with a clean driving record.
· Be at least 25 years of age.
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· 1-2 years driving large capacity vehicles or 1-3 years service/sales experience.
· Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operates a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to a variety of customers. Verifies daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintains proper operator documentation; Manages daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product; Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines; Reviews invoices daily for complete and accurate information and makes corrections as needed; Verifies load sheets and soil reports for accuracy every day before starting the route; Meets sales goals and promotes overall route growth to enhance profitability; Develops leads/prospects, calls on prospective customers to solicit business, prepares service agreements, and installs new accounts; Follows all traffic laws, along with applicable Department of Transportation regulations; Maintains proper appearance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands – Sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, climbing stairs, moving carts up to 500 lbs, lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, hearing.
Working Environment – Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical locations and seasons. Fast-paced environment possibly requiring irregular and long hours.
WORK & PAY SCHEDULES
Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to completion of route. Saturday work is mandatory before holidays.
This is a semi-monthly salary plus commission position. Payroll cuts off on the 10th and 25th of each month, with checks being issued on or around the 15th and 30th of the month.'
