As a PTO Service Technician, you'll play a key role in installing, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding PTOs, pumps, blowers, and hydraulic systems on trucks and related equipment. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
You'll work in a fast-paced shop environment with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.
Position Responsibilities
• Install Power Take-Offs (PTOs) on trucks
• Install, plumb, and set up pumps, blowers, and complete hydraulic systems
• Configure hydraulic circuits including valves, reservoirs, filters, hoses, and fittings
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PTOs, pumps, blowers, and hydraulic components
• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild pumps and blowers to OEM specifications
• Identify hydraulic issues including leaks, pressure loss, contamination, and component failures
• Perform functional testing, final inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and manufacturer manuals
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all shop procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Shop Foreman and Shop Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience working with PTOs, pumps, blowers, and hydraulic systems
• Hands-on experience rebuilding pumps and blowers
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, climb and sit for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with customers, management, and team members.
• Travel as needed to other Company locations by vehicle, plane, or train.
