Grinding Operator
Union City, OK

Red River Brick, the premier brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Grinding Operator for our Union City, Oklahoma manufacturing facility. Red River Brick operates eight production sites across Texas and Oklahoma, offering more than 70 residential and commercial brick designs through eight direct retail centers.

This role requires operating and monitoring grinding equipment to ensure quality and efficiency, while supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety standards and procedures
• Perform pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup
• Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment to minimize unplanned stops
• Communicate and record equipment abnormalities to supervisors
• Record daily data regarding the condition of equipment
• Perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance as needed
• Ensure quality of material being ground
• Maintain material stock levels

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience required; loader and backhoe experience or ability to learn preferred
• One (1) or more years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with heavy equipment and belt conveyors is a plus
• Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, and performing other labor tasks
