Join a team of professionals working to fulfill the mission and further the strategic goals of Communication Federal Credit Union. As an Accountant you will be responsible for general ledger functions and the reconciliation of subsidiary journals and bank accounts for the credit union. You will also handle and support the department's responsibilities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and other projects as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Process journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Reconcile credit union and other general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Support audits and regulatory filings.
• Tax withholding remittance and filing.
• Other assignments as required.

Education and Experience

• 1-3 years of accounting experience (credit union or financial institutions preferred).
• Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Accounting.
• Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions
