While specialization in server, compute, network, storage, data centers, communication, data protection, and virtualization is common, Senior Infrastructure Engineers are encouraged to develop moderate depth of knowledge across multiple disciplines. They support lead engineers with technical implementation, automation, maintenance, and provide feedback, recommendations, and documentation throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, supporting continuous improvement within our IT Service Management discipline. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.Qualifications 4 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience supporting multiple infrastructure disciplinesAbility to work with business units to apply technology effectivelyIntermediate certifications (e.g., RHCSA, CCNA, MCSA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX, CWNA, EMCSA, ACIS, CCP) or storage certifications preferred; 4 years of experience can substitute certificationsITIL certification within 6 months of employmentEffective communication skills in English (verbal and written)Experience with Wide Area and Local Area Network infrastructureExperience with management platforms, remote monitoring, and protocol analyzers is preferredHighly preferred: NetScaler and Wireless networking experienceResponsibilities The Senior Infrastructure Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Mentoring and training junior team membersServing as an escalation point for infrastructure issuesAnalyzing current systems and procedures, recommending designs or modificationsPlanning roadmaps for production infrastructure, keeping systems current and supportedImplementing and maintaining enterprise standardsInstalling and configuring systems per design specificationsAnalyzing, troubleshooting, repairing, and tuning complex systems and hardwareSupporting ITIL Service Transition, ensuring proper documentation and trainingTesting and evaluating new technologiesMonitoring environment, managing support tickets and incidentsProviding technical support and incident response 24/7Performing root cause analysis for failuresSupporting infrastructure performance and capacity reportsCommunicating effectively with business and technical teams in plain EnglishThe position reports to a Manager of IT Services and responds to training and direction from Lead Engineers, Architects, and project teams.
