YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY :

The Head of Production is the most senior level of floor leadership at their respective facility, ensuring all tactical and strategic plans are fully developed and executed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  1. Lead and execute organizational initiatives to oversee and manage all production programs within their team.
  2. Create and drive the production floor strategic plan, ensuring best assembly methods are utilized and aligned with program schedules.
  3. Ensure effective communication downstream and upstream for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Drive results from Production Managers and their programs.
  5. Own the production floor personnel and activities, setting the tone for the culture on the floor.
  6. Identify process gaps and create/delegate plans to address them promptly.
  7. Strategize and implement significant improvements to production processes.
  8. Collaborate with the Director of Product Development to ensure product design aligns with efficient manufacturing methods.
  9. Provide guidance to Production Managers I, II, and III.
  10. Coordinate with the BVA lead for manpower planning to meet production demands.
  11. Monitor adherence to QA/QC processes.
  12. Work with the program GF to create and maintain production schedules.
  13. Align with program management on customer needs and timelines.
  14. Lead a safety culture in collaboration with the Safety Team.
  15. Mentor and support Production Managers in technical and leadership skills.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :

Knowledge of construction and electrical industry required.

Ability to oversee technical programs, supervise site and staff, and serve as technical SME while maintaining transparent customer relations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.

Strong prioritization, multitasking, and adaptability skills.

Effective communication skills, self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.

Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US :

Associates or Bachelors Degree in a technical field preferred.

Minimum 18 years of field electrical experience as a licensed electrician.

Minimum 20 years of experience in industrialized construction and/or manufacturing industry.

TRAVEL : Up to 10%

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Primarily indoor environment with varying conditions; noise level can be loud on-site.

Includes occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
