May also grasp, push, pull, drag and lift equipment and other items.Must have mobility, vision, and dexterity levels, appropriate to the duties to be performedAdditional physical requirements to be considered depending on the area assigned.*NOTE: Employee will be coached for failure to adhere to the maximum weights or for non-use of required safety equipment.JOB CONDITIONS:Work hours vary according to availability of shifts.This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one and one half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.Additional work factors to be considered depends wholly on the area(s) assigned and may include variable temperatures, noise, dust levels, lighting and ground surfaces.CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED (At Agency's Expense):SafetyForeign Object Debris within 10 days of hireTool Control within 10 days of hireRCRA within 10 days of hireHazardous Communication, Hazardous Material-WasteHazardous Material Management systemPhysical Security, Communications Security & Base ExerciseControlled & Restricted AreasFlight Line and Ramp AreaVehicle Operation & EquipmentSCOPE: Responsible for the overall cleaning and appearance of assigned areas on a daily basis, following the specifications of the current contract.AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be familiar with and comply with all DRTC Federal Contract policies and procedures.Dress according to DRTC and/or specific Federal Contracts dress code policy.RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.Gather and empty trash.Service, clean, and supply restrooms.Clean and organize each cleaning closet or storage area before leaving it.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and following security regulations on secured exits. Observe and document electrical hazards immediately to management.Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems, i.e., broken toilet seats, dispensers, plumbing issues, etc.Snow removal at appli able federal contract site, to include removing snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spreading snow-melting chemicals.Request supplies and equipment used for daily cleaning.Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.Clean windows, glass, partitions, and mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.Dilute concentrated chemicals in correct proportions according to manufacturers specifications for ready to use solutions.Shampoo carpets.Floor finish removal/application and polish floors.Emergency services, as needed, i.e., water extraction.Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, indu
