Job Summary

The Supply Chain Material Handler 1 is responsible for performing labeling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations for raw materials and components used in commercial production.

This role operates across the Fort Worth production site and a contracted warehouse.

The handler will ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while maintaining accurate documentation within the ERP system.

The position requires working in a controlled, non-classified environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify materials according to purchase orders and process receipt transactions.
  • Initiate documentation for cGMP materials and perform receiving inspections for certain components.
  • Assist with sampling and coordinate movement, labeling, and sampling of raw materials and components with Quality Assurance.
  • Transport raw materials and components for batch manufacturing, manage storeroom inventory levels, and perform physical tasks related to receiving, shipping, and storing materials.
  • Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Generate bills of lading and hazardous materials declarations.
  • Prepare temperature-sensitive products for shipment to commercial partners and contract manufacturers according to SOPs.
  • Manage inventory levels for manufacturing consumables and shipping supplies.
  • Provide accurate and complete documentation related to manufacturing and supply chain duties.
  • Complete all cGMP, GCP, GLP, and safety training as required.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by company leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical or life-sciences manufacturing.
  • Experience with inventory management and ERP systems (e.g., Excel, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with cGMP operations, DOT, and IATA regulations.
  • Experience handling temperature-sensitive products and cold storage environments.
